There is this smart dog that got to solve the problem of placing something large into a small space. Some pups do need something comforting to keep next to them to get to sleep properly. For Arvo the long-haired Dachshund, this turned out to be a big fluffy brown teddy bear. It won’t do for him to be without his Teddy at all!
Problem fitting it in
Arvo loves his teddy bear so much that he decides that he wants the stuffed toy to accompany him inside his carrying cage. The only problem is that the toy is too big to fit inside the small opening. The little dog tries and tries to pull the bear in through his mid-section, making it impossible for it to go in.
Diligent dog
The main characteristic of Dachshunds is their determination. They don’t easily give up when they want to accomplish something. This diligence is what Arvo shows as he tries to solve his dilemma about fitting the big stuffed bear into his small kennel. The puppy takes the bear back out and starts to try again. He’s so smart that he knows not to try and pull it in through the toy’s tummy anymore. Arvo lays down the bear on its front and heads to its ear to get a hold of it properly.
Successful task
Once the dog got a hold of the head of his favorite stuffed toy, he then backs into his carrying cage by dragging the toy in with him. And it was a success! Arvo was able to bring his bear in with no problems. But he still isn’t that content; he wants the whole bear inside. So, he heads back out of his kennel to grab the toy’s feet. His persistence on this allowed him to bring at least one of the bear’s legs inside. Arvo is now happy as can be with his teddy bear by his side, and he was then able to rest easy.
